Meet the Clinician

Anna Bruton

I graduated with a dual degree in Exercise Science and Physiotherapy in 2005 from Griffith University, Gold Coast. Since then I have worked primarily in private practice on the Sunshine Coast, England and uncannily enough, on a Greek Island.

I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in the physiotherapy areas of musculoskeletal, sports, women's health and in assisting people in 'Chronic' or 'persistent' pain states with a program called Graded Motor Imagery. I am Level 4 DMA Clinical Pilates qualified and a Power Yoga Teacher.

During my time in England I developed a keen interest in women’s health physiotherapy whilst working within a government service that targeted pelvic floor issues. I returned to Australia with an ongoing commitment to continuing education and training in Women’s Health.

Most recently I worked in Emerald in Central Queensland as the Senior Physiotherapist at Emerald Hospital- it was a position that required knowledge and experience on all aspects of physio.

My husband, young son and I have now relocated to Yarrawonga to be closer to family as well as enjoy the amazing foodie scene and mountain biking that this region has to offer. I am passionate at all things exercise, adventure, friends, food and mindfulness.
